Creating New Inventory Alerts for Clients

Set up a rental inventory alert for your client so they are notified of new verified rental listings the moment the listing is uploaded to the Rental Beast database. Since the listing has been uploaded to Rental Beast, you know the listing is active and has the most accurate and detailed listing information.

Setting Up New Inventory Alerts

Inventory alerts are the best way to keep a client informed of new rental listings. We suggest setting a few inventory alerts for each client based on their search criteria. 

Step by step:

  1. Log into Rental Beast (www.rentalbeast.com)
  2. Click on “Search”
  3. Customize and run a search based on the client’s criteria
  4. Click “Save as an Alert” (next to Search button)
  5. Input “Alert Name,” associate a client with the alert, and determine the frequency of the alert. The associated client will receive emails with new listing alerts in the frequency selected
  6. Click “Save”

Editing a Past Inventory Alert

It is common for a client’s search criteria to change. You can easily edit a past inventory alert and update it as a client’s search criteria changes. 

Step by step:

  1. Log into Rental Beast (www.rentalbeast.com)
  2. Click on “Search”
  3. Customize and run a search based on the client’s criteria
  4. Click “Save as an Alert” (next to Search button)
  5. Click “Overwrite and existing alert”
  6. Select the alert you want to overwrite
  7. Click “Overwrite”
