Bookmarking Listings

A highly used feature in the Rental Beast “Search” tab is the ability to bookmark listing(s) for easy accessibility down the road. This is particularly useful when you know a client will be interested in a specific listing.

Additionally, a different but potentially more powerful use case is the ability to configure your rental website (Link URL) to only display listings you have bookmarked. This allows you to easily highlight the properties you want to.

 

Bookmarking a Listing

The bookmark tool can be used to bookmark one listing at a time or multiple at a time. Individual listings can be bookmarked from the main search page of the listing detail page.

From the main search page in “Detail View”

  1. Log in to Rental Beast (www.rentalbeast.com).
  2. Click the “Search” tab.
  3. Run the desired search.
  4. Find the listing you want to bookmark.
  5. On the left side of the page, below the listing picture, click the blue, ribbon icon.

From the main search page in “List View”

  1. Log in to Rental Beast (www.rentalbeast.com).
  2. Click the “Search” tab.
  3. Run the desired search.
  4. Find the listing you want to bookmark and on the left side of the page click the checkmark box in that listings row.
  5. Once selected, click the blue “Bookmark” button near the “List View” button.

From a Listing Detail page

  1. When in a Listing Details page, click the blue ribbon icon near the top right corner of the screen.

 

Bookmarking Multiple Listings

Multiple listings can be bookmarked at once from the main search page.

  1. Log in to Rental Beast (www.rentalbeast.com).
  2. Click the “Search” tab.
  3. Run the desired search.
  4. Find the listings you want to bookmark and on the left side of the page click the checkmark box in that listings row.
  5. Once all desired listings have been selected, click the “Bookmark” button near the “List View” button.

 

Accessing Your Bookmarked Listings

Use the below instructions to see the listings you have bookmarked.

  1. Log into Rental Beast (www.rentalbeast.com).
  2. Click the “Search” tab.
  3. Run a listing search.
  4. Click the “BOOKMARKED” icon on the right hand side of the screen.
Note: You must have at least one bookmarked listing to access the bookmark area.

Removing a Previously Bookmarked Listing

You can easily remove a previously bookmarked listing by accessing your Bookmark Listing area and removing the desired listing.

Removing a Bookmarked listing 

  1. Log into Rental Beast (www.rentalbeast.com).
  2. Click the “Search” tab.
  3. Run a listing search.
  4. Click the “BOOKMARKED” icon on the right hand side of the screen.
  5. Select the listing(s) you want to remove by click the checkbox on the left hand side of the screen in that listings row.
  6. Once you have selected the desired listings to remove, click the “Remove Selected” button directly below the “List View” in the middle of the screen.

Clearing all Bookmarked Listings

  1. Log into Rental Beast (www.rentalbeast.com).
  2. Click the “Search” tab.
  3. Run a listing search.
  4. Click the “BOOKMARKED” icon on the right hand side of the screen.
  5. Click the “Clear All” button directly below the “Detail View” button in the middle of the screen.

Displaying Bookmarked Listings on your Link URL

If you don’t have any exclusive rental listings to display on your Link URL, not to worry as you can configure the Link URL to display any listings you have bookmarked. This is a great way to highlight the properties you want your client’s to see. Follow the below instructions to configure your Link URL to display any listings you have bookmarked.

  1. Log into Rental Beast (www.rentalbeast.com).
  2. Click on “Settings”.
  3. Scroll down to the section labeled “Link URL”.
  4. Under “Link URL Listing Display Settings”, click “Configure Visible Listings”.
  5. Click “Show Rental Beast listings I have bookmarked”.
  6. Click the blue “Save” button.
